CrossFit Skirmish – Novice #1 Basic Training, Sat 23 May

CrossFit is an amazing, progressive fitness programme for life. It does, however, require some knowledge and coaching at a foundation level before you get started. Safety and correct technique is our goal.   The Skirmish “Novice” #1 workshop is fantastic fun and essential. For us it is important to help prepare you for our future WOD’s and classes .This workshop has 2 objectives:

1. You find out how to do the basic moves safely and QUICKLY so you are able to take part at a foundation level within group WODs.

2. It is a great chance to meet our Head Trainer and assistants plus they can assess your skills level and scale WODs accordingly.

Rowing with the Concept II rower
Squats: air squat, back squat, front squat, overhead squat
Push-up
Ring row
Ring dip
Pull-up and Kipping pull-up (assisted)
Box Jumps
Skipping
Wall Balls
